Sculpture based on an ancient model from the 1st century BC, housed in the National Roman Museum at the Palazzo Altemps in Rome (Ludovisi Coll Inv. 8604)

An identical group can be found on the portrait of Mr and Mrs Ralph Isard painted in 1775 by John Singleton Copley (America, 1738-1815) and now in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
