Régence period bureau plat, in ebony-veneered wood, the rectangular top with an old brown leather gilded with tin-plate, above a straight frieze fitted with three fronted drawers, the second side with three simulated drawers. Ornamented with Rocaille gilt bronze mounts : keyholes, handles, pierced acanthus shaped ormolu mounts, and sabots. Raised on cabriole legs.
