Set of four chairs - Italy, Late 18th century
A pair of armchairs and a pair of chairs in moulded, carved and lacquered wood.
Rectangular backs carved with acanthus leaves at the four corners surrounding a central medallion, and flanked by detached columns. Armrests decorated with large acanthus leaves and a moulded straight belt. All on tapered and fluted legs.
