A small Genoese table that doubles as a writing desk
Marquetry in violet wood with chiselled and gilded bronze ornamentation, featuring a geometric marquetry design and quatrefoils; the scalloped top lifts up to reveal, via a push-button mechanism, a drawer serving as a writing desk, lined with green leather, the reverse side of which reveals a mirror, the front opens via two doors revealing a drawer and a compartment, the sides fitted with handles, resting on curved legs finished with acanthus leaves.
