Genoese flat desk

Violet wood marquetry. Chiselled and gilded bronze ornamentation with rocaille and cascading floral motifs, clogs and keyholes. The piece is embellished on all four sides. It opens at the front with three drawers and has three faux drawers at the back. It rests on four curved legs with cut-away sides. The top is fretworked, surrounded by a wide moulding and covered with embossed fawn leather.
