A pair of rectangular shaped consoles, raised on a frieze centered by an animal’s head flanked by foliage, on squared tapering legs. Veneered marble tops

Provenance Italy, Napoly.

Epoque late 18th century

Dimensions : H 37,5 in – W 53,25 in – D 26 inches

Those consoles are quite similar to a pair belonging to Palazzo Milzetti in Faenza, and coming from the Duchy of Modena and Parma (Enrico Colle, Il mobile Impero in Italia, Electa 1998, ill. P 105-106).
