Pair of Louis XV period armchairs
Stamped by Louis Cresson (1706-1761), master in 1738
Made of moulded and carved beech and walnut, the backrest and belt are decorated with flowers, acanthus leaves, rocaille motifs and a burst pomegranate in the centre. The whip-shaped armrests rest on curved legs.
Upholstery in tawny-coloured embossed velvet.
