At the center of an assembly dressed in the antique style, King Louis XV presents to the renommée a medallion depicting Marie Leszczynska, his deceased wife, which he deposits with the help of Cupid and Minerva placed on his right, on a funeral altar. On the left the figure of Time is consoled by Cupid, while a little genius strives to burn his wings.
